New Terminator movie, Terminator Salvation is almost here!
The latest offering from the Terminator movie franchise, the new Terminator Salvation movie , is almost here (less than a week away as I write this) and I have to admit that I am really about this one. I am feeling a very positive vibe about this Summer popcorn picture after reading about it and especially after watching those teaser trailers from earlier this year. You have to admit, that any movie that still can make me feel this positive after one of it’s stars (Christian Bale) went and made a fool of himself on set in a setting that almost guaranteed that it would be saved for posterity and released onto the world wide web really must have something going for it.
Honestly, until I heard that Bale was onboard the project, I had little to no interest in a fourth Terminator movie; After three films and a television series, I figured that there were maybe not enough ideas left to explore in any Terminator 4 effort - especially after how dissapointed I was at the last effort, Terminator 3. But you know what? I failed to realize that except for a variety of comic books released over the last 20 years, there had been little development of the futre history aspect of the storyline. The current Terminator project people realised this and went to work on something that looks like it could be quite a fresh story.
Well, in less than a week we shall see for ourselves…
